The pool table
A full-size table in an air-conditioned room, free to use and permanently in demand. Eight-ball, nine-ball, or a tournament that starts as a joke and lasts three nights.
There are darts in the same room, and the board games are on the shelves behind the tables — Monopoly, chess and draughts, Jenga and Uno.
Two arcade cabinets
Stand-up machines with real joysticks and buttons, not a screen with an app on it.
The Street Fighter cabinet
A black stand-up cabinet with a 26-inch screen and LED buttons, holding over 9,000 titles — the fighting classics up front, and most of arcade history behind them. Two players.
The Pac-Man cabinet
Over 3,300 games, weighted towards the ones you actually remember: Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter, Tekken, NBA Jam, and a great deal of Metal Slug.
Free for guests
All of it is included if you are staying — and it is what the evenings tend to turn into once the sun has gone.
