Three of the ground-floor deluxe rooms have been taken back to the shell and rebuilt. Same layout, same quiet side of the property, everything else new. This is what changed, and when — so that if you are reading it a year from now you know how new “new” is.

What was done

Clean contemporary lines and better materials throughout, without changing the feel that makes the place what it is. They work equally well for a weekend, for a few weeks of remote work, or for a long stay.

All three are on one level, so there are no stairs between the car and the bed — which matters more than it sounds if you are travelling with luggage, with children, or with knees that have opinions.

Booked together, the three make a comfortable base for a family or a small group who want to be near each other without sharing a bathroom.
